DJ packages for a party in Phuket

The most common question and the most awkward answer: it depends. That is why we put together three ready-made packages — with a fixed price, a clear list of what is included and no surprises in the quote. Inside are sound and light. A DJ and a technician are not included: a DJ from 3,000 ฿ an hour, a technician on site from 2,000 ฿ an hour. Delivery and set-up are always charged separately — delivery from 2,000 ฿ by car and from 5,000 ฿ by truck, set-up from 2,000 ฿; the total depends on the area, the amount of equipment and how complex the rigging is.

PICNIC Basic — a small group at a villa or on the beach. Enough for a house of 10–15 people: the music plays evenly, the neighbours do not complain, nobody sits in the dark.

HOUSE Premium — a birthday at a villa with a pool, 10–30 guests, music into the night. The sound already carries an open-air venue, and there is enough light for photos.

CORPORATE Ultra — a corporate event, a wedding, a large event of 30–100 people. The power is calculated for a venue where guests spread across the grounds rather than standing by the speakers.

Yacht Basic and Yacht Premium — a party on a catamaran or a yacht. The equipment is different: compact, battery-powered, resistant to moisture and rolling. The DJ is not included in the yacht packages. DJ with equipment: 5-hour cruise 20,000 ฿, 8-hour cruise 25,000 ฿.

The package covers the basics. From there the budget grows with what you add: artists and shows — from 5,000 ฿ per artist, decorations and photo zones — from 2,500 ฿ per element, staff — from 1,000 ฿ per hour, catering — from 2,000 ฿ per guest. Special effects and logistics are quoted separately.

Lighting. Sound is always heard, but without lighting a venue looks empty after sunset and the photos come out dark. The second is logistics and setup: people often forget to budget for them, and then they surface in the quote. They are not part of the packages — budget for them from the start: delivery from 2,000 ฿, set-up from 2,000 ฿, depending on the area and the amount of gear.

15 guests, a villa, an evening without a programme. The PICNIC Basic package — 10,000 ฿. Plus a couple of LED tables and light-up letters — about 5,000 ฿. In total roughly 15,000 ฿ for a styled evening with music and light.

30 guests, a birthday at a villa. The HOUSE Premium package — 25,000 ฿. An artist for one set — from 5,000 ฿. A photo zone — from 10,000 ฿. A photographer for two hours — 10,000 ฿. Catering from 2,000 ฿ per guest adds about 60,000 ฿ more if the food is on you. Without food the evening comes to roughly 50,000 ฿.

50 guests, a corporate event. The CORPORATE Ultra package — 39,000 ฿. An MC and a show programme, branded decor, hostesses to welcome guests, a technical team. This format usually starts from 120,000–150,000 ฿ without catering, and from there it depends on the programme.

These are guidelines, not a price list: the exact amount depends on the venue, the date and what you want to add. The minimum order for organising an event is 15,000 ฿.

Venue. A villa in Rawai and a villa in Bang Tao cost differently not in themselves but because of logistics: a distant area means more crew time and more trips. A yacht costs more than the shore in almost everything: the equipment is different, the loading window is narrow, the artists are booked for longer.

Date. High season from November to April and the New Year holidays are the busiest. From 28 December to 3 January artists apply a surcharge coefficient, and good venues are booked months ahead.

Duration. A four-hour evening and an evening until morning are different budgets, not only for the rental but for the staff too: shifts are charged by the hour, and the team has to be fed.

Lighting and logistics. Lighting — because after sunset a venue without it looks empty and every photo comes out dark; it is the first thing people regret the next day. Logistics and setup — because they do not disappear just because they were left out of the quote; they surface at the end and spoil the impression of everything else.
